As part of the celebration of International Education Week (I.E.W.) at UNC Greensboro, IPC invited the following members to submit photos for this year’s photo contest:
- Current international students
- Returning study abroad students
- UNCG faculty and staff
The photos are intended to showcase how the photographer has become immersed in the experiences and culture of another country. Voting is currently underway and will be open to the entire campus. Vote now with the link at the bottom of this page!
About the International Photo Contest
The International Photo Contest is an annual event that takes place during the Fall semester. The contest opened for submissions in October, and winning photos will be announced during International Education Week, Ocotber 23-27, 2023.
This contest is open to:
- All current UNCG students who studied abroad through a UNCG program between Fall 2022-Summer 2023 [Fall 2022, Spring 2023, Academic Year 2022-23,and Summer 2023]
- Any international degree-seeking or exchange students
- Faculty members who have participated in international travels affiliated with UNCG (i.e., faculty-led programs, international conferences, etc.)
The finalist photos will be displayed during International Education Week, and may also be featured on our website and in future promotions and publications.

- Spartan Spirit Abroad (uncg swag around the world)
- As Far as the Eye can Sea (landscapes, cityscapes, etc)
- Capturing Culture (daily life, events, celebrations, etc)
- For international students:
- Roadtrip U.S.A. (travels around the U.S.)
- Home Away From Home (UNCG and Greensboro)
- For faculty and staff:
