To promote international education at UNC Greensboro, the University has a network of relationships with partner institutions abroad facilitated by the International Programs Center (IPC). These relationships encourage our students to study abroad, attract international students and faculty members to our campus, and enable our faculty to teach and conduct collaborative and individual research at institutions abroad. Our desire is to develop and cultivate relationships that support our broad institutional and international mission through creating and maintaining a worldwide set of partners that will be utilized by our campus community.

International Connections

UNCG has more than 127 active international agreements with prestigious universities abroad. These agreements include study abroad agreements, reciprocal student exchange agreements, articulation agreements, faculty/staff exchange agreements and more.

IPC oversees all of UNCG’s internationalization efforts, from formalizing strategic partnerships with universities abroad to hosting international visitors here in Greensboro. On behalf of the U.N.C. system, our office also manages the Baden-Württemberg/North Carolina Student Exchange program.
