Conditional Admission Application Procedures

UNCG offers conditional admission to students who are academically eligible for admission, but do not meet the English language proficiency requirement.

Applicants who wish to begin their studies with English language training may first attend the INTERLINK Language Center on the UNCG campus.  Students who successfully complete INTERLINK meet the English proficiency requirement for admission, and are not required to take the TOEFL, IELTS, or SAT examination.

To apply for conditional admission, applicants need to do the following:

1.  Complete the International Undergraduate Application ($55 application fee, payable to UNCG)

2. Complete the INTERLINK application ($100 application fee, payable to INTERLINK)
Note: The INTERLINK application fee will not be charged unless you are offered conditional admission to UNCG.

3. Submit transcripts from secondary school (high school), and all colleges and universities attended.

Please visit the INTERLINK website to learn about their course schedule, tuition, and other information.  You may contact INTERLINK at: interlink@uncg.edu

Send both the UNCG and the INTERLINK applications and transcripts to the International Programs Center at the following address:
