Welcome to our Omani Students!

UNCG and IPC are proud to announce the arrival of a new group of five sponsored students from Oman. They arrived in Greensboro on Tuesday, October 16, 2012. In April 2012, UNCG signed an agreement with the Sultanate of Oman to send scholarship students (freshmen only) to our university. With this new partnership, UNCG will be one of only twenty-one universities in the US to receive Omani students. We would like to thank Pamela Harrod, our International Admissions Director, for working on this agreement.

The Omani students will first participate in the INTERLINK English Language Center program. They joined the rest of the new INTERLINK students for its Fall II term orientation session which began Monday, October 15, 2012.
