Welcome to the University of North Carolina Greensboro! UNCG is home to 600 international students and scholars who represent 90 countries around the world. UNCG and the International Programs Center value the presence of international students and scholars as they enhance cultural diversity on campus, make positive academic and professional contributions to the University, and enrich the experiences of members of the UNCG and greater Greensboro communities.
The University community offers its international students and scholars many professional, academic, social and cultural opportunities, including the International Student Association (ISA), career advising and other options, cultural field trips, a network of faculty and scholars in your field and the International Festival to name a few. Specific services and advocacy are provided by International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) for degree seeking international students and visiting scholars, including faculty, researchers and observers. We provide services from the time of initial contact through the student or scholar's entire experience at the University.
We look forward meeting you and helping you to have and enjoyable and enriching experience at UNCG, in the Greensboro area and the U.S. in general. If there is anything we can do to assist you, please let us know.
